It is a business requirement of the MAIB that all payments to service providers are transmitted by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) into a bank, building society or credit union.

Service providers receiving EFT payments, have the option to receive payment remittance advices by email or facsimile.

Benefits to providers of MAIB's EFT system include:

a)  no handling of cheques;
b)  better cash flow;
c)  no missing or lost cheques;
d)  no need to wait for cheques to clear.

The EFT system also reduces MAIB costs.

To register to receive payments by EFT, simply complete the:
